What is a Fellowship Mentor? What should I be looking for in a fellowship mentor and how will we work together?
Aspiring research fellows are invited to consider what role a fellowship mentor plays in fellowship applications and awards.
This event is part of York’s Fellowship Launchpad: EXPLORE series, a series of nine short online sessions (45 minutes) introducing aspiring research fellows to key fellowship topics. The series is sequential helping you to build a strong foundational knowledge from which to start your fellowship application. Other topics include ‘Research Funding (and why it matters to you!)’, Choosing the Right Scheme for your Research’, and ‘Developing a Fellowship Application: Step by Step’.
In this session you will:
- Discover what a fellowship mentor is and how they support aspiring and current fellows.
- Consider strategies for making connections with potential fellowship mentors.
