This workshop is suitable for Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs) with little or no experience of developing funding applications.
In this session, you will gain a fundamental understanding of the grant application process. We will explore the structure and components of a typical grant application, providing you with a clear picture of what is expected. You will learn about the average time required to develop a funding proposal, from initial concept to submission, and the key stages involved

- Recognise the wide range of potential sources of research funding
- Consider what project you might wish to focus on, why you should do it and why now
- Understand the key elements of proposal writing and signpost to sources of support
