Biomechanics+: Movement, Mind and Machines

Biomechanics+ is an interdisciplinary research laboratory dedicated to advancing the scientific understanding of human movement through the integration of biomechanics, neuroscience, robotics, and bionics.

Our work investigates the neuromechanical foundations of motor control and musculoskeletal function, while also developing novel technologies - such as medical robotics and bio-integrated systems - to enhance or restore mobility.

By bridging fundamental science with translational engineering, Biomechanics+ aims to contribute to the next generation of therapeutic, assistive, and performance-enhancing solutions at the interface of movement, mind, and machine.

Ultimately, our research seeks to transform healthcare by enabling more effective rehabilitation, personalised interventions, and human-centered assistive technologies that improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

Our Mission

We aim to deliver mobility independence for everyone, irrespective of age, income or location.
