Event details

Discover how the atomic scale structure of nanoparticles can be revealed using electron microscopy. Next, explore a selection of 3D nanoparticles in virtual reality and try to find a match for the one shown in the 2D electron microscopy image. Talk to University of York physicists about titanium dioxide nanoparticles and learn how their research aims to understand the atomic scale structure and properties of these nanoparticles to improve their performance for solar applications.

Meet the Researchers: James Quirk, John Carey, Keith McKenna
