European Researchers' Night is a mega event which takes place every year simultaneously in several hundred cities all over Europe and beyond. It aims to show that research is fun and influences daily life for all of us.

YorNight is York’s contribution to this event, and in 2014 it was held on Friday 26 September. Venues throughout the city hosted talks, exhibitions, and interactive activities offering the opportunity to delve into the exciting and important research happening in York.
