Planning your visit
York Researchers’ Night (YorNight) 2018 takes place on Saturday 17 November in the heart of the city of York.
All events take place at the historic King’s Manor (the University of York’s city centre campus) and the Tempest Anderson Hall, Yorkshire Museum.
Talks take place at both our venues at scheduled times from 3.30pm to 8pm (see individual talks for details), while activities run continuously from 3pm to 8pm at King’s Manor and the Yorkshire Museum.
No booking required – simply turn up on the day.
Families are warmly welcomed to YorNight. Many of our activities have been designed specifically with the young in mind. As well as offering a fantastic insight into the exciting world of research, our events might even provide a glimpse into a future career.
Food and drink
The Refectory Café at King’s Manor will be open throughout the evening offering freshly ground Eros coffee, homemade soup, salads, filled jacket potatoes, sandwiches and hot and cold snacks.
