All undergraduate degree programmes are available with an optional Year in Industry, students find this an invaluable way to gain experience of working in industry during their degree and companies benefit by having a motivated individual to undertake research and development.
The popular integrated masters programmes also provide the option for the students to spend over four months in industry (mid-January to mid-May) in their final year.
Students on our Taught Masters degree programmes have more specialist skills and we are looking for internship opportunities for them from October - December (after the completion of their course).
Many of our students are also interested in summer placements.
Offering suitable projects is an excellent way to recruit graduates, and gain access to the expertise of the Department.
Recent sandwich year and student projects have included:
Please get in touch if you woudl like to discuss any of these opportunities further.
See our flyer for more information on the benefits of taking part in one of our industrial schemes. There is flexibility depending on what you are looking for - ranging from 3 month internships to year long placements.
