Molecular Mechanisms and Tools

Modern biomedicine relies heavily on resolving structural, dynamic, and chemical events at sub-nanometer scales. The Molecular Mechanisms and Tools theme integrates multidisciplinary approaches to dissect complex biological systems and elucidate disease etiology.

Our expertise encompasses high-resolution structural biology – cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography, and NMR – to reveal macromolecular architecture, biomolecular biophysics to map conformational dynamics and binding kinetics, and chemical biology to generate high-affinity chemical probes and therapeutic leads.

By synthesizing structural insights with targeted chemical intervention and quantitative biophysical profiling, we drive the mechanistic understanding of cellular dysfunction and accelerate the discovery of novel therapeutic modalities.
