Archaeology Outreach Award

This award honours the achievements of undergraduate and taught postgraduate students who reach out to bring archaeology and heritage to the wider public. These students have worked to bring archaeology and heritage to a broader audience by educating children, performing community service or any number of other creative engagements. This should be outside a formal placement.

By creating this award we wish to recognise the importance of engagement with the local community by awarding undergraduate and taught postgraduate students who reach out to bring archaeology and heritage to the wider public.

This is awarded once per term to an undergraduate and a postgraduate, and comes with a gift of £50.
