Following the YESI ECR launch session in December (many thanks again to everyone who came!), we are taking the YESI early career support work forward this semester (we define ECRs broadly, ie from PhDs up to lecturers). You overwhelmingly highlighted grant support as a useful activity, and following an excellent suggestion in the session, we will be running a two-hour grant incubator session on 2 April. 

Beforehand, we will ask everyone to submit their key questions, as well as some tips and tricks, through this padlet (please do contribute with questions and any thoughts on how to answer them!). 

In the session, our panel of experienced principal or co-investigators, grant evaluators and research services staff will first talk through some key reflections in response to the padlet. The rest of the session will be devoted to all of you seeking feedback from the panel to your concrete grant ideas - so please do come ready to pitch them with as much detail as possible, ie your brilliant idea, what funder, what scheme, what timeline, with what collaborators, etc! :-)
