Event details

Production and management practices in the food, water and waste sectors are of increasing public concern. There is growing pressure to deliver environmentally sustainable, cost-effective and socially responsible solutions.

This YESI Food, Water and Waste Research Theme workshop aims to build collaborations between academics, industry and other stakeholders to achieve these goals.

At this Waste as a Bioresource workshop there will be an exciting range of stakeholders present, including BBSRC, InnovateUK, Royal Society, BioVale, Biorenewable Development Centre, the University of York KTP team, and the Research and Innovation Development Team, we will present Case Studies of successful industrial-academic collaborations and there will be the chance to network with like-minded individuals, and tour our facilities.

This is a great opportunity to identify how York academics can work with you to develop ideas, challenge bottlenecks and work towards scale-up.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
