York is offering scholarships to undergraduate Clearing applicants as a contribution towards the cost of their studies at the University of York for the 2026/7 academic year.

The York Global Clearing Scholarship is automatically awarded to undergraduate international students who apply and receive an offer in Clearing to support them in achieving their goals at the University of York.

Eligibility
Open to International (including EU) students only.
To be eligible for a York Global Clearing Scholarship, you must:
- be paying fees at the overseas fee rate
- intend to study a full-time undergraduate course starting in September 2026 (excluding MA social work)
- have received a formal Clearing offer following referral to York in UCAS.
You will not be eligible if:
- you hold a 100% tuition fee scholarship or are fully sponsored.
Students on the following pathways (either previously or currently) are not eligible for these scholarships:
- Hull York Medical School
- International Pathway College
- Distance and online learning courses
- Part-time courses
- Partnership and exchange students (including visiting students)
- Kaplan International College London
- Kaplan Digital Pathways

Clearing applicants who are offered a place to study at the University of York will be automatically considered for this scholarship.
You will not need to formally apply for the scholarship.

Terms and conditions
If you defer your offer at the University of York, you cannot keep your scholarship.
The University reserves the right to withdraw this scholarship at any time.
Combining scholarships
York Global Clearing scholarships may be combined with other University of York scholarships as long as this does not exceed 100% of your tuition fees.
York Global Clearing scholarships may be combined with external funding as long as this does not exceed 100% of your tuition fees.
You can only be eligible for a maximum of one York Global Clearing Scholarship.
