Taught Masters degrees in Heritage

York is an ideal place to study and interpret the past. Our historic city is rich in museums, galleries, archives and heritage organisations. 

Our arts and humanities faculty offers a range of courses that explore heritage and how we present the past. The broad research expertise of our academics includes public history, art history and curating, conservation and heritage management.

York's long history and beautiful buildings and scenery make it the perfect place to study. It's a beautiful city with lots going on. There are so many resources on campus and in the city itself. If you want a change of scenery while you're studying, you can visit the Minster Library or the vast number of cafes and pubs in the city.
