Module aims

This module is an introductory undergraduate level course in Spanish grammar.

Module learning outcomes

After satisfactorily completing the module you should be able to show:

  • Increased understanding of the structures of the Spanish language
  • The ability to analyse grammatical aspects and to understand/produce them in context
  • An increased awareness, acquired through revision, practice and intensive self-study, of the use of the grammatical structures used in spoken and written Spanish and of grammar-related issues of particular note within Spanish

Module feedback

There are two components to the final assessment:

A1 hour closed exam (paper 1)

Feedback: Individuals will be allowed to see their exam paper with comments, under supervision, at an appointed date after the external examiner has reviewed the papers.

A 2 hour closed exam (paper 2)

Feedback: Individuals will be allowed to see their exam paper with comments, under supervision, at an appointed date after the external examiner has reviewed the papers
