The Curatorial Internship provides students with the experience of taking their curatorial and art-historical learning into the work environment. Each student will be assigned to one of the department’s collaborative partners (gallery, museum, historic house etc.) where they will be guided in the working practices of curation relevant to that institution, and deepen their understanding of how the skills and theories developed in academic study relate to the daily work carried out in galleries/related institutions.
By the end of the module, a student should have acquired:
