Module aims
This module aims to develop knowledge and understanding of effective team working and the role of leadership within it through examining the responsibilities and scope of practice of the Nursing Associate role.
Module learning outcomes
By the end of the module, students will be able to:

Analyse models of leading and supervising others in a healthcare setting.

Evaluate ways to promote effective team working taking into account human factors and the environment in which the team operates.

Critically reflect on the impact of personal behaviors, attitudes and leadership qualities that contribute to the effective functioning of the team and.

Analyse approaches to the giving and receiving of feedback in a team environment.

Explain the roles, responsibilities and scope of practice of different members of the nursing and interdisciplinary team and their own role within it.
