English Dept Study Abroad - Combined - ENG00137I
Module summary
As part of your 3+1 degree you will spend the whole time of your 3rd year in your chosen overseas institution, taking additional credits. i.e. any modules you take abroad will not feed into your degree result. We need you to complete the agreed time at the overseas institution and engage with your studies.
Your engagement is evidenced via fulfilment of your learning agreement (evidenced in the form of a signature from the host department) and via this pass/fail module, which is assessed with a 2000 word essay submitted in week 1 of the Spring term, in which you will reflect on your studies and your experience of another culture.
Although no mark will be given for this module, you need to pass the module in order to proceed to the final year of your degree programme at York.
