Denmark: Aarhus University (Study in English)
France: University of Grenoble Alpes (English and high B1/low B2 French required), University of Strasbourg (B1 French required)
Germany: Freidrich Schiller University Jena (B2 German required)
Netherlands: Radboud University Nijmegen (Study in English)
Spain: Autonomous University of Madrid (B1 Spanish required), University of Valencia (B1 Spanish required)
University-wide: Undergraduate Biology, Biomedical Sciences and Biochemistry students may also apply to study abroad at one of York’s University-wide partners, which are open to students from most other departments at the University.
ISEP (International Student Exchange Program) Exchange:
As part of your internal application for an additional year abroad, you can list ISEP as one of your preferred choices. Begin by exploring the ISEP Minisite and using the ISEP Program Finder to research possible destinations; make sure to apply the 'ISEP Exchange' filter to tailor your search and your field of study. Please be aware that ISEP Direct is not available.
- Additional year - BSc / MSci Neuroscience and BSc / MSci Ecology and Conservation Biology students can go abroad for an additional year only.
