Come along to our Global Opportunities Fair to find out how to apply for opportunities to study, work and volunteer abroad. Speak to Global Opportunities staff and meet York students who have been abroad. Discover more about independent travel opportunities from representatives of international volunteering organisations.

Summer Opportunities Information Session, 11am - 12pm

Come along to our Summer Opportunities Information session to find out how to apply for opportunities to study, work and volunteer abroad during the summer vacation.  There will be representatives from Seoul National University and University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Our Global Assistant will also be sharing their experience of summer opportunities.

Workshops for students due to go abroad in summer 2026 or the academic year 2026/27.

Topics will include:

• Responsibilities
• Applications to host universities
• the Mobility Online system
• Visas and accommodation
• Travel insurance 
• Travel safety and wellbeing

This workshop will be followed by a social and chance to chat with other students, Global Opportunities staff and visiting students.

This workshop will be followed by an opportunity to chat with other students going to the same destination.
