Support for disabled students

News

Posted on Sunday 20 September 2026

If you have a disability, learning difficulty, mental health difficulty or a long-term health condition, you may be eligible for academic support and adjustments.

To access Disability Services, you need to complete our registration form via e:vision and provide supporting information.
Go to the Your support page, scroll to the bottom of the page, and then click on Your Disability Services registrations. You will be asked to upload supporting information with your form.

Disability advice drop-ins

If you would like to find out more about the support that might be available to you, please come along to one of our drop-in sessions in the Student Hub (Sally Baldwin Buildings, Block D).

During Welcome Week and Teaching Week 1, we'll be available every day as follows:

Monday: 10am to 11.30am
Tuesday: 10am to 11.30am
Wednesday: 2pm to 3.30pm
Thursday: 12 noon to 1.30pm
Friday: 2pm to 3.30pm

From Week 2 to Week 11 (including Consolidation Week),  in both Semester 1 and Semester 2, drop-ins will take place every week at the following days and times:

Tuesday: 11am to 12 noon
Wednesday: 2pm to 3pm
Thursday: 12 noon to 1pm

Please note that drop-ins are not an alternative to a meeting with your advisor. You should contact Disability Services directly if you need to discuss something more in-depth, for example:

  • I need to talk about my student support plan
  • My requirements have changed
  • My adjustments are not working and need to be reviewed

Individual exam arrangements for disabled students

If you require individual exam arrangements, you must complete a registration form and provided Disability Services with appropriate evidence by Friday 23 October 2026 for the January 2027 assessment period.
