Don't know where to begin with your dissertation?

The dissertation writing lecture series will help you approach the process and present your work.

Beginning on Wednesday 8 May 2019, the Writing and Language Skills Centre is holding a lecture series aimed at undergraduates and Masters students who have been tasked with writing a dissertation. 

Lectures include:

  1. Why do a dissertation?
  2. Literature Review and Academic Reading
  3. Method, Results and Discussion
  4. Abstract, Introduction and Conclusion

By the end of the series, you'll have gained a greater insight into why you are asked to do a dissertation, how to approach the process, and how a dissertation is generally presented.

Lectures take place on Wednesdays at 1.30pm.
