From Thursday 2 January 2020, four campus outlets will no longer offer single-use takeaway cups.

With news that recycling rates at the University have reached an all-time high and the YORCUP scheme has saved almost 75,000 single-use cups from going to landfill, the University is going one step further.

From Thursday 2 January 2020, four campus outlets will no longer offer single-use takeaway cups. These are:

If you wish to take your beverage away, you will need to provide your own cup, or you can join the YORCUP scheme.
