The Careers Centre are hosting an drop-in session to give you the opportunity to talk to training providers and people working in the education and youth sectors. If you're passionate about education or working in the youth sector, this is a great opportunity to find out what options you have and the sort of training you need.

There will also be the chance to find out about ways of gaining relevant work experience through volunteering and York Students in Schools.

Call any time between 16.30pm and 18:30pm to talk to people with experience in roles such as:

  • teaching and teacher training
  • teaching outside the classroom
  • early years
  • pastoral roles in schools
  • educational psychology
  • mentoring
  • educational research
  • museums and heritage education
  • theatre outreach
  • voluntary organisations
  • social work and more.
