Careers with children, young people and adult learners

Tuesday 17 January 2017, 16.30 - 18.30, Physics/Exhibition Centre

Are you:

  • considering a career working with children and young people?
  • passionate about education?
  • interested in teaching in school or outside of the classroom?

This event will give you the opportunity to talk to training providers and people working in a range of roles in the Education and Youth sector such as:

  • teaching and teacher training
  • teaching outside the classroom
  • early years
  • pastoral roles in schools
  • educational psychology
  • mentoring
  • educational research
  • museums and heritage education
  • theatre outreach
  • voluntary organisations
  • social work and more.  

There will also be the chance to find out about ways of gaining relevant work experience through volunteering and York Students in Schools.

This is a drop-in event - call in any time between 16.30 and 18.30.
