National Student Survey 2012

Posted on 23 January 2012

The 2012 National Student Survey is running from 23 January until 30 April 2012. If you are a final year student you will be eligible to take part. Please take the time to complete the survey - the results are used by the University to make improvements and are taken into consideration by external bodies when evaluating and rating the University.

Taking part in the NSS

For each survey completed we will donate £1 to the Student Hardship fund.

Kate Dodd, Academic Registrar

If you are eligible to take part you will be contacted by Ipsos Mori via email during the early weeks of the survey.

If you have not completed the survey you may later be contacted by post or ultimately by telephone.

Please complete the survey: your feedback is valued by your department and the University and is used to inform improvements and changes to the courses and support services offered by the University.

Scoring your experience

Please be aware that only a score of 4 or 5 will be counted by the national survey as indicating satisfaction. A score of 3 (“Neither agree nor disagree”) is counted as indicating dissatisfaction.

If you do give a score of 3, 2 or 1 we would welcome an explanation in the open comments to help us identify improvements we can make to the course.
