Learn practical ways to deal with stress and feel more in control with this six week course.

The aim of this course is to teach you new skills that can fight stress and its effects. It uses proven, evidenced techniques based on an approach called Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

The sessions are run like seminars, with a presenter giving you information to help understand you stress and anxiety and ways of managing and overcoming these. You will not have to talk or speak about yourself; you can just sit and listen and learn some great ways of dealing with stress. Each session will be supported by a useful handout.

The course is delivered by Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT), a service run by the NHS.
