During the summer, a new YGRS project is exploring PGRs’ housing and commuting preferences and constraints.

From the start of Semester 1, YGRS will be implementing a new, standardised approach to TAP and progression meetings across all schools/departments at University of York.

From 2 February 2026, the process for requesting a "Change of Plan" (such as a Leave of Absence, changing from full-time to part-time, transferring your programme, or requesting a programme extension) is changing.

This year, York SU are working more closely with YGRS than ever to make sure your voice is heard and they can represent you as effectively as possible - find out more about their latest activities below.
