Introduction

The Hot Metal Workshop is used for high temperature processes.

Gas fired crucible

Gas fired crucible for melting metals ready for casting.

Floor mounted with an extractor fan.

Sandbox bench

Sandbox bench for preparing sand moulds ready for sand casting.

A metal box in which you put sand.

Sand/bead blaster

Sand/bead blaster for cleaning castings of other components.

The sand will blast off paint and other coatings.

Chip forge

Chip forge set for preheating and brazing processes.

Applies heat to make an object malleable.

Preheating furnace

Furnace for preheating and heat treatment processes to control metal microstructures

A table mounted oven.

Plasma cutter

The plasma cutter uses a plasma source to cut thick metal plates.

Large floor mounted table-like platform with computer controls.
