Managed hardware service: classroom PCs

Related pages

All computers in the IT Services classrooms and study areas are fully managed.

This means IT Services looks after their installation, fault monitoring and fixes, and disposal at the end of life.

Overview

Eligibility

This service applies to all users of IT Services classrooms and study areas.

For other University owned or personal devices, please see Laptop & PC repair service.

IT Services staff monitor the computers in our classrooms and study areas.

If we see that a machine has developed a fault, and we can't fix it straightaway, we'll put a sign on it to say we're working to fix it.

We aim to fix all problems within two working days.

Reporting problems

If you spot a problem with any of our computers, please let us know by contacting the IT Support.

Make a note of the PC name (found on a sticker on the computer or monitor), and tell us as much as you can about the problem.
