Postgraduate Diploma and Certificate courses

All Taught Postgraduate programmes at Masters level in the Department of Archaeology are also available to study for Postgraduate Diploma and Postgraduate Certificate qualifications.

Students on the Postgraduate Diploma programme study for six months of taught courses during the Autumn and Spring Terms (two core, two option and four skills modules) and, over the Summer Term, complete an extended essay.

The Postgraduate Certificate programme consists of the two core modules from the chosen programme and four skills modules, with no independent study requirement.

Currently the Postgraduate Diploma and Certificate are only available for full-time study, i.e. over one year.
