Professor Colin Beale, YESI’s Resilient Ecosystems Research Theme Co-Lead and Professor in Ecology in the Department of Biology, has a long awaited new book published today.

101 Curious Tales of East African Birds is an exciting and educational read packed with stunning photographs and bite-size stories about fascinating East African birds. Providing an easily digested introduction to tropical ornithology, each story highlights insights and observations into the avian world, from the mysterious movements  of flamingos to the puzzle of why ducks feathers repel water.
