Retrofit Futures 2025 unites communities and decision-makers to showcase York’s progress toward a fair and scalable home-retrofit system. SEI’s Luke Gooding will offer key insights into why locally rooted One Stop Shops are essential for accelerating climate action and supporting residents.

Retrofit Futures 2025 presents the outcomes of the ROSSY project, led by City of York Council and funded by Innovate UK. The summit demonstrates a regional commitment to tackling fuel poverty and cutting carbon emissions, showcasing innovative tools, governance approaches and practical solutions to support York’s 2030 climate goals.

Drawing on SEI’s research, Luke discusses how locally embedded models improve trust, enhance resilience, and ensure that retrofit benefits reach those who need them most. His session offers insights relevant to local authorities, policymakers, and practitioners working to accelerate home retrofit.
