Following multiple YESI events aimed at early-career researchers (ECRs, broadly defined - PhDs, PGRs, post-docs, lecturers, ...) last academic year such as a grant incubator session, we are kicking off the YESI ECR work for this year with a 'Meet an editor' session on Weds, 15 Oct, 12-1pm, D/L/006.
Multiple current or former members of journal editorial boards will be on hand to discuss the submission and peer review process for Atmospheric Environment, New Political Economy and Journal of Political Ecology. Prof Nicola Carslaw, Prof Tony Heron and Dr Judith Krauss will talk you through recommendations for what to do to get published, the challenges and opportunities of being a good peer reviewer, and answer your questions.
