Event details

With YESI International Fellow, Prof Violeta Orlovic Lovren, University of Belgrade

The purpose of this workshop is to explore opportunities for integrating sustainability
into learning and teaching in higher education, starting from interdisciplinary and critical perspectives.

Using utopia as a method (Levitas, 2013) and sustainability as analytical framework, we
will create ideal learning spaces, within the formal, non-formal or informal learning
context. The utopian method, within an educational context, fosters critical
engagement with reality while concurrently providing space for the development of
innovative thinking. It encourages a reevaluation of existing theoretical approaches and
their practical implementation, promoting a dynamic and transformative mindset.
