Event details

Join YESI for the 14th Tropical Ecosystems Network (TEN) meeting where we will kick-start a collaborative process to identify the most important practical or research-focused questions that, if answered, would have the greatest positive impact on ensuring successful Nature-based Solutions (NbS) in the tropics.

The workshop will:

  1. Describe the aims of the work, including ideas developed so far to achieve them;
  2. Garner feedback from attendees on our proposed scope and methods (and how we might improve them); and
  3. Develop a work plan to roll out these methods over the following months.

All attendees will be invited to collaborate, and, in the longer term, will have the opportunity to become co-authors on any resulting publications.

The nature of our overarching question means that we will require expert contributions from a range of disciplines (e.g. politics, economics, natural and social sciences etc.), and so we would really like to have attendance from anyone with an interest in NbS - regardless of their main discipline. Please do join us if you can, and please circulate widely among your networks.

This is an in-person event, including lunch.
