Due to the coronavirus pandemic, I had to remain in my accommodation on campus here in York. The cleaning staff, reception staff and security staff have been immensely helpful in ensuring that the students remaining on campus have been supported during this difficult time. Student Services like Open Door have continued to operate on a remote basis during the pandemic, which has meant that I could still have my appointments, albeit through the phone instead of face-to-face.

I live on campus at Wentworth College. The environment here is beautiful and the location is great, with a beautiful lake beside it. We are surrounded by this endless green panoramic view; it’s very pleasant. The location of Wentworth College is really good. It is close to the Nisa supermarket, bus stop and Morrell Library on Campus West. It only takes me about 8 minutes to walk to each of these places and it’s very close to my classroom. I am really happy that I live here.
