Use Careers Drop-In to:

Ask general questions about completing a placement as part of the University’s Placement Year module. Remember to check the Placement Year/Year in Industry web page in case the answer to your question is referenced there
Get help with starting your placement search

For more in-depth support you can book a Placement Year/Year in Industry appointment through Handshake. Please note that these appointments are only open to Year 2 students (and some integrated Masters students) who have either registered interest in completing a placement next academic year, or who are on a year in industry degree route.

BEFORE BOOKING a Placement Year/Year in Industry appointment:

1. Find your key contact. Check the list below to identify the member of the Placements Team who supports your department or faculty.

2. Aim to book an appointment with your key contact; click on your contact's name below to view their appointment availability.

If your key contact does not have any available slots you can book an appointment with another member of the Placements Team, however please be aware that this person may re-allocate your appointment to ensure that you are supported by the most appropriate person.
