September Welcome Week 2018

Please keep checking the Welcome Week Programmes.  They will be available from late July onwards.

Welcome Week is a free programme of talks and activities aimed at helping new students acquire an understanding of University life and UK study skills. It is also a good opportunity to meet existing international and UK students and to make friends with other new students. Welcome Week will include presentations, social activities and tours of the campus and city.

‌Postgraduate and Undergraduate timetables will be available throughout the summer, and will continue to be updated, so please check this site regularly.

If you are from any of the countries shown on the document linked to below (which have high rates of TB) then we advise you to attend the screening sessions for TB even if you feel well and have had a chest x-ray as part of screening before entering the UK.  The screenings are routine and straightforward and you will not be expected to remove your clothes. The times and locations of the screenings can be found on the Welcome Week Programmes.
