Lord Karan Bilimoria of Chelsea CBE DL

He founded Cobra Beer in 1989, which became a major UK beer brand. He became the first Indian-born Chancellor of a Russell Group university at the University of Birmingham and served as President of the Confederation of British Industry from 2020 to 2022, and in 2025 was appointed Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) United Kingdom. A leading advocate for entrepreneurship, education and UK-India relations, he was appointed CBE for services to business and entrepreneurship. He continues to champion international trade, enterprise and cross-sector collaboration through public speaking and advisory roles.
