Information for staff
Academic and administrative staff are welcome to attend graduation to celebrate the achievements of their students.
- Departmental administrators will be sent request forms around three months prior to ceremonies. Please contact them if you wish to attend graduation.
- Staff who complete the form will be emailed a ticket in the week preceding the ceremonies, and must be printed and brought on the day. (This is not required if attending in academic dress.)
- If attending, please arrive at Central Hall 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony.
How to dress
It is not compulsory for staff to wear academic dress, but those who do will be invited to join the opening procession into Central Hall.
We can hire academic dress for any staff member who holds a degree. The ticket request form will ask if you wish for robes to be hired for you. All staff gowns can be collected from Market Square on the day of the ceremony.
Submitting results and theses
Please submit your undergraduate results lists and postgraduate results lists by Wednesday 3 July 2024.
