July 2026 ceremonies

The next graduation ceremonies take place on Thursday 16 - Tuesday 21 July 2026.

Eligible students receive an invitation to attend via e:vision.

Additional guest tickets

We are aware of an issue around obtaining additional tickets for our summer graduation ceremonies.

Every graduating student is guaranteed two tickets for their ceremony. Sometimes, where capacity has not been reached, we are able to offer additional tickets.

This year we implemented a new online ticketing and email system. Unfortunately, not all students received the email offering them up to two extra tickets for ceremonies with spare capacity. We apologise for this error on our part.

It’s not possible to re-open the online booking process at this point. Instead, we are making a limited number of additional free-of-charge tickets available on the day of the ceremonies. We have written directly to all students with further details on this.

Please be assured no one will be turned away from our campus. We always have free, accessible spaces with large screens close to the main venues so additional family members can celebrate together and not miss a moment of the ceremony. We are grateful for our students' patience as we work to make graduation a special day for everyone.

Ticket availability

Whichever ceremony you are attending, we advise you to speak with staff at the Graduation Information Desk on the day.

We have worked to free up space and provide additional seating as appropriate in Central Hall, and we also have some returned tickets. This means that there are now extra tickets available for each ceremony, but at varying levels.

On the day

We will be releasing these tickets on the day of the event.

If you don't already have additional tickets, you can request them at the Graduation Information Desk located between Central Hall and the Berrick Saul Building at the same time as collecting your wristband. Staff will be able to help you up to two hours before the ceremony, or from 7.15am if you're attending a 9am ceremony.

Quantities of available tickets are low and we cannot guarantee additional tickets for everyone. They will be distributed strictly on a first-come, first-served basis and there will be a maximum number of additional tickets per graduate depending on availability.

Unticketed live-stream rooms (Exhibition Centre and Greg's Place)

If your ceremony is fully booked, we have unticketed live-stream venues at the Exhibition Centre and Greg's Place. These spaces are completely free and open to everyone. They feature live feeds on big screens, close proximity to amenities and a lively atmosphere so your extra guests can celebrate every moment of you crossing the stage.

Remember to sign up for your graduation clip so you can relive and share your moment.
