News

Posted on Thursday 5 March 2026

Thursday 12 March is University Mental Health Day, and this year the focus is on the importance of ‘connection’, and the positive impact that this can have on your mental health.

Fun and freebies at the Fair!

We are holding a University Mental Health Day Fair in the Ron Cooke Hub on Thursday 12 March 2026 between 1-4pm - come and see us!

We have a wide range of stall holders to help you understand, support and manage your mental health and wellbeing - with food, freebies, and fun activities thrown in too!

Wellbeing Officers will also be around and about in Spring Lane Building on Tuesday 10 March 2026 between 11am-2pm - say hello and claim your wellbeing freebie!

Connecting with your community

Why not come along to our new College Community Cafes for a free tea or coffee and a snack? They’re a great way to connect with other students, and also meet your College Community and College Wellbeing teams.  Everyone is welcome!

Campus West College Community Cafe: every Monday in Derwent GCR, 11am-1pm

Campus East College Community Cafe: every Wednesday in Goodricke Clarbour Room, 11.30am-12.30pm
