How to boost your mental health and wellbeing

Posted on 8 October 2022

Looking after your mental health is something that you can build into your daily routines and everyday habits.

Just like eating healthily or getting enough exercise, proactively putting things in place to support your mental health can help you feel better able to cope with everyday challenges.

So why not mark World Mental Health Day on Monday 10 October by starting to take some everyday steps to support your mental health?

Take part in important UoY student wellbeing research

Wellbeing among students is a key concern but there is little research or high-quality evidence available to help us understand patterns and to inform effective strategies to support students. The Department of Health Sciences is undertaking important research and inviting all University of York students to take part so as to improve our understanding of student wellbeing. At the end of the survey you will be given the opportunity to enter a prize draw for vouchers worth up to £50
