Join a mini intercultural exchange project in which students from Tohoku and York will get to know each other’s culture.

As part of a short online course for students of Tohoku University, Japan, the Centre for Global Programmes is organising a mini intercultural exchange project in which students from Tohoku and York will work together getting to know each other’s culture and then present their findings.

Join us between 28 February - 25 March 2022 to:

  • meet and work on a project with students from Japan
  • gain international experience while staying in York
  • learn about Japanese culture and reflect on your own

Altogether there will be three 60-minute sessions where you will work together. You may need some extra time to prepare for the final presentation. Here’s the schedule:

  • Session 2: Thursday 10 March 11AM - 12PM
  • Session 3: Thursday 17 March 11AM - 12PM
