Sexual Violence Awareness Week 2022

Posted on 4 February 2022

We are marking Sexual Violence Awareness Week with a series of events, talks and activities around the theme of 'Changing the Conversation'.

Sexual Violence Awareness Week 2022

Light Up the Night

We invite you to ‘Light up the Night’ on Monday 7 February in a display of solidarity with survivors of sexual violence.

Join us at Greg's Place at 5.30 pm to walk across campus, ending at Heslington Hall. Battery operated candles will be provided, or feel free to get creative (think fairy lights, reflective clothing, torches). The walk itself is estimated to last 20 - 30 minutes.

If you can't join us in person, please feel free to share a picture of yourself 'lighting up the night' on Instagram and tag @uoy_svlo using #itsnotok #changingtheconversation.
