New Turing Scheme opens (replacing Erasmus)

Posted on 18 March 2021

The Centre for Global Programmes is making the official application on behalf of the University. Individual students shouldn't apply directly.

The government has begun inviting applications for the Turing Scheme, which provides funding for international opportunities in education and training and replaces the EU Erasmus scheme for UK students.

It is not possible for individual students to make an application and, in attempting to do so, this may jeopardise the University’s ability to submit a comprehensive application to support many students. Please, therefore, do not do anything at this stage.

Should we be successful in our application, we will communicate the conditions under which we can allocate funding to individual students and how, if eligible, you may be able to apply for this funding. This will not be known until later in the year and we will keep you informed about the progress.
