Nominate our next Chancellor

Posted on 6 October 2021

Next summer, Sir Malcolm Grant will complete his tenure as Chancellor, after seven successful years. We are now beginning the search for our seventh Chancellor, and we'd like you to contribute.

The role of Chancellor is an important one; in addition to the ceremonial duties, like presiding over Graduation, they act as an ambassador, a champion and an advocate for the University at home and abroad. With their own areas of expertise and understanding of the University’s vision, they provide advice and insight to support our work.

If you know of someone whose commitment and values would make them the right person to become our new Chancellor, please nominate them. Nominations are open now, and will close at 5pm on Friday 3 December. All staff, students, alumni and other members of our community are welcome to make a nomination and we encourage the nomination of candidates from all walks of life, with a broad range of skills, experience and backgrounds.
