Library opening times over the winter break & assessment period

Information about Christmas closure dates and the return of 24 hour opening for the assessment period in January.

Summary

The Library will be closed on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 December, plus Saturday 1 January.

The new term sees 24 hour opening resume for the exam period in week 1.

Regular 8am - midnight hours begin in week 2.

Monday 6 December - Vacation begins Move to a blended approach of bookable and non-bookable study spaces
Monday 13 December Scan & Send requests and UK Postal Loan requests deadline
Friday 24 December Library closes at 4pm for Christmas
Saturday 25 December Closed
Sunday 26 December Closed
Monday 27 December Library reopens (9am - 7pm all week)
Friday 31 December Library closes at 4pm
Saturday 1 January Closed
Sunday 2 January Library reopens
Monday 10 January - Term begins Library opens at 8am and 24 hour opening returns for the exam period until midnight on Sunday 16 January
Monday 17 January Regular 8am - midnight opening hours resume

Note: King’s Manor Library will be closed in December
