Emergency Student Support Fund reopens

The Emergency Student Support Fund has reopened. Application deadline: Tuesday 27 April.

The Emergency Student Support Fund (ESSF) provides short-term financial support for the unanticipated needs of York students caused or exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic. Students can apply for a maximum of £500 of non-repayable funding.

All current students who are fully-registered at the University of York on a degree-awarding programme (UG, PGT or PGR, full- or part-time) are eligible to apply for ESSF funding.

The funding can be used for: 

• food/living costs
• accommodation
• IT equipment costs

The new ESSF round will close on Tuesday 27 April 2021.
