Eat happy

Posted on 12 February 2021

Cooking together and sharing a meal can do wonders for your mental health - and pocket.

What you eat may affect how you feel - but when and where you eat can have an effect too. Cooking and sharing a meal with your household can help improve your mental health, whether it’s helping you to wind down, providing a chance to socialise and feel connected to others, or taking a mental break from your day.

You can also help your pocket. Buying in bulk works out much cheaper than portions for one. Get your household together, decide on a time, take turns to choose recipes and discover new foods and flavours. And don’t forget you can share on the washing up as well!
